Why did you choose to work at WCM?

I love the Conservatory's outreach to our diverse Milwaukee community and the breadth and vibrancy of its music programs! On a personal level, I enjoy the company of fellow musician colleagues whose dedication to high teaching standards and compassionate teaching philosophies match my own dedication to the art of teaching.

Describe a musical experience or teacher that had a positive impact on you.

My mentor and teacher, Stewart Gordon (U Maryland grad studies) was an exemplary teacher in all ways for me. He taught with an unfailingly positive outlook, and was devoted to helping each of his students reach their own best goals and to develop their own original and personal "voice" as a pianist. He also encouraged us to become dedicated and compassionate teachers.
