John Manno, harp
John Manno began playing harp at age six. His teachers have included Marie Ludwig, Elizabeth Cifani, Edward Druzinski, Nancy Allen, and Eileen Malone. John received his Bachelors in Music from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY and did graduate work at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. He has been a full time freelance classical musician in the Midwest for 30 years. He has played harp in the Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestras, as well as the Duluth-Superior Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of Illinois, The Keweenaw Symphony Orchestra and The Pine Mountain Music Festival Orchestras. Currently, John lives and works in Milwaukee, WI. In addition to all his freelance work, he is on the faculty of the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music; and teaches harp full time in the Milwaukee Public Schools.

Jamie Breiwick, trumpet
Jamie Breiwick is an acclaimed trumpeter, bandleader, and composer, based in the Milwaukee area. The Jamie Breiwick trio/quartet/quintet is a straight-ahead jazz group available for weddings, cocktail parties, corporate events, restaurants, etc. The group performs repertoire from the great American song book, classic jazz standards, as well as Latin, Brazilian, and contemporary styles.

Mark Davis, jazz piano
Jazz pianist Mark Davis is available for concerts, club appearances, corporate functions, wedding receptions, ceremonies, private parties and events. He performs solo and as the leader of various groups including the WCM resident ensemble We Six.

Lynn Roginske is in demand throughout Wisconsin as a piano soloist and with her group, The Lynn Roginske Trio. Matthew Bergey, soloist, chamber musician, and accompanist
Matthew Bergey is an accomplished soloist, chamber musician and accompanist in various styles. Since earning his Master's degree in piano performance from the Manhattan School of Music, he has performed in many of the major cities in the U.S., including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, and many others. He has performed with many notable artists from the Metropolitan Opera, Florentine Opera, the Milwaukee Symphony, and the Three Irish Tenors. Matthew is available for background music as a classical pianist, as well as lounge, light jazz, and standards. He is also a perfect pianist for weddings, and accompanist for hire. Kayme Henkel, soloist and accompanist
Recent competition awards have been the Neale-Silva Young Artist Competition, WMTA Young Artist Competition, and the UW-Madison Beethoven Competition. In addition to her degrees in performance and pedagogy, she has a minor in opera coaching and will be performing with Opera for the Young in the 2006-2007 season. WCM faculty member since 2006. Benjamin Kammin, fingerstyle guitar
As a solo finger-style guitarist, Mr. Kammin has performed extensively throughout the Midwest. He has immersed himself in the music of Michael Hedges, Leo Kottke, Billy McLaughlin, and many other notable finger-style guitarists. Working closely with renowned finger-style guitar educator and historian, John Stropes, Mr. Kammin's focus is on performing, composing, teaching, and exploring new repertoire. He has shared the stage with such artists as Tuck & Patti, Peter Mulvey, Brooks Williams, Peter Roller, and Matt Schroeder. Mr. Kammin has participated in master classes with Billy McLaughlin and Alex de Grassi. His second recording of finger-style guitar music is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2007.

George Lindquist, classical & baroque guitar, lute
Mr. Lindquist studied classical guitar with James Yoghourtjian and has been an active teacher and performer since 1975. He also has been a member of several ensembles, including a classical guitar trio, a flute and guitar duo, and a guitar and harpsichord duo, with performances throughout Wisconsin and on Wisconsin Public Radio. He is one of the guitarists featured on the CD Milwaukee Guitar: Strictly Solo and can also be heard on recordings with the Master Singers of Milwaukee and the Festival Choir of Madison. WCM faculty member since 1972. B.A. Carthage College with a diploma in Classical Guitar Performance; M.M. Musicology University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mr. Lindquist also teaches classical guitar and related subjects at UW-Parkside and UW-Whitewater.

Matthew Schroeder, fingerstyle guitar
Matthew Schroeder is a Milwaukee based WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) winning guitarist who is equally at home on electric or acoustic guitar. Matt is one of a handful of players to graduate from the short lived cooperative program between The Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a performance degree in American finger-style guitar. Matt is also one of Milwaukee’s prominent guitar educators and serves as Chair of the guitar department at The Wisconsin Conservatory of Music. His debut solo finger-style CD, Signal, was released in 2006.

J. Mark Baker, baritone
J. Mark Baker is an experienced singer, choral conductor, music educator and church musician. As a professional member of the Chicago Symphony Chorus, Dr. Baker has sung under the direction of Daniel Barenboim, Pierre Boulez, Christoph Eschenbach, Zubin Mehta and Peter Schreier. He was a recipient of the CSC’s Margaret Hillis Foundation scholarship for continuing vocal studies. A member of Bel Canto Chorus since 2001, he has been the baritone soloist in their performances of Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass, Mozart’s Solemn Vespers and Fauré’s Requiem. As a music editor, Dr. Baker has prepared a five-volume Anthology of Italian Opera, a four-volume set of Mozart opera arias, and the collected songs of Maurice Ravel. WCM faculty member since 2006. Jenny Gettel, soprano
Ms. Gettel is soprano soloist with the Baroque chamber group Great Lakes Baroque. She also served as principal soprano soloist with Ensemble Musical Offering, where she worked with Stanley Ritchie, Marion Verbruggen, Joshua Rifkin and other Baroque specialists. Ms. Gettel has appeared as soloist with Present Music, Bach Chamber Choir, Racine Symphony and Skylight Opera, where she performed in a cycle of Monteverdi operas under the direction of Stephen Wadsworth. Ms. Gettel taught voice at Alverno College, general music at New World Montessori, 81st Street School and in the Whitefish Bay Public Schools. She is a founding member of the a cappella group Polyhymnia and is director of contemporary music at St. Boniface Episcopal Church in Mequon. WCM faculty member since 2002. M.M. Jahmés Tony Finlayson, hand drumming & percussion
Jahmés Tony Finlayson is an accomplished musician, performing artist, storyteller, composer and workshop facilitator. His interactive and engaging presentations include music, songs, stories and movement of Africa, the Caribbean, the Americas and beyond. He has presented numerous concerts and assemblies to school groups, colleges and universities across the country and his programs are enthusiastically received by young and old alike. He is a keynote presenter who has performed and facilitated workshops and therapeutic music sessions for wellness/health care professionals and educators. He has presented at several peace camps and peer mediation/conflict resolution organizations. Jahmés also conducts classroom sessions and workshops involving creativity, creative use of found objects, instrument making and drumcraft. He has led drumming and music workshops for people of all ages with a variety of special needs, and is the Musical Director of “Children of the Sun,” a drum ensemble for deaf and hard of hearing youth at the Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Jahmés is a faculty member at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, the Director of Music for Express Yourself Milwaukee Inc., and performs regularly with the Milwaukee Public Theatre. He has been affiliated with the world renowned Ko-Thi African Dance Company as poet, musician and prop designer for more than two decades and is a founding member of the popular world music ensemble “One Drum.” Available for multicultural programs, performances, residencies, workshops, accompanist work, and composing.
