Strings Department
Whether you are bowing on four strings (violin, viola, cello or bass) or plucking on as many as forty seven (concert grand harp) our string department offers instruction in both solo repertoire and chamber music to beginners thru advanced level players of all ages.

Tuition Rates for Individual Instruction:
Range from $30-$32 for a thirty minute lesson; $45-$47.50 for a forty five minute lesson; or $60-$64 for a sixty minute lesson.

Individual Instruction
Enjoy learning a string instrument in a musical environment designed to meet the needs of students of various ages, levels and styles

Group Classes
Group study allows students to learn in a motivational, supportive, and fun setting. 

Children

  • Suzuki Program (children can begin study at grade K4, 3 year olds accepted at the discretion of the instructor upon interview)
    • Books 1 and 2: 30-min private lessons + 40-minute group classes
    • Book 3: 45-minute private lessons + 40-minute group classes + Theory is Fun
    • Book 4: 45-minute private lessons + 40-minute group classes + Theory is Fun + Orchestra
    • Book 5: 45-minute private lessons + Con Brio Ensemble + Music and Musicians + Orchestra
    • Book  6 and above: 60-minute private lesson + Advanced Theory + Chamber Ensemble
    • Beginning Suzuki Violin Class for Kids (summer)
