
Celebrating its 10th anniversary season as the Conservatory's resident jazz faculty sextet, We Six presents yet another stellar concert series as only they can.
From world beats to hard bop, original compositions to soulful standards, the group explores the full range of jazz in their signature straight-ahead style. To cap it all off, with continued funding from the Eric D. Batterman Memorial Grant, We Six welcomes Vincent Herring for an exciting, not-to-be missed final concert on May 3, 2012.
All concerts are held in the Helen Bader Recital Hall at 1584 North Prospect Avenue unless otherwise noted.

Over his three-decade career, alto saxophonist Vincent Herring has worked with some of the biggest names in jazz, including Nat Adderley, Cedar Walton, Freddie Hubbard, Dizzy Gillespie, Louis Hayes, Art Blakey, Kenny Barron, Nancy Wilson, Dr. Billy Taylor, Carla Bley, John Hicks, and Wynton Marsalis.
Now this international touring musician will join the We Six Trio in the Helen Bader Recital Hall to bop the night away.

Mr. Herring will also be presenting a Master Class on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at the Conservatory.
